Kate Upton appears on the cover of Sports Illustrated's Swimsuit Issue, which goes on sale Tuesday. This is the second year in a row she has had the honour, and she's the first woman to enjoy back to back cover shoots since Tyra Banks did it in 1996/97
The mag shared the news with their fans on Twitter, posting, "POLAR BARE: @KateUpton in Antarctica is your 2013 SI Swimsuit Cover Model!" Upton is now expected to appear on The Late Show with David Letterman on Monday night along with nine other swimsuit models to promote the issue.

"This means so much for me personally," she told People Magazine last time she was given the cover shoot. "This has always been my dream." Upton also opened up on the experience of the photo-shoot; something she's a natural at now.
"In the beginning you're pretty relaxed, you're not thinking of new poses and it just feels really natural at that point," she says. "At Sports Illustrated everyone's so nice and it's like a family, you don't really think too much into it. I just have a lot of fun and be myself. It just comes so naturally."
