Kate Winslet is ''proud'' that ''no one really knows'' why her first and second marriages ended.
The 'Divergent' actress, who divorced Jim Threapleton in 2001 after three years of marriage and Sam Mendes in 2010 after seven years, is glad she kept the details surrounding both splits private.
She said: ''No one really knows what has happened in my life. No one really knows why my first marriage didn't last; no one knows why my second didn't. I'm proud of those silences.''
But Kate, who has daughter Mia, 14, with Jim, son Joe, 11, with Sam and 21-month-old son Bear with current husband Ned Rocknroll, admits the attention surrounding her love life ''hasn't been easy.''
The Oscar winner told WSJ. Magazine: ''I know lots of people who are not in the public eye who have gone through several marriages, I really do, and it's just those are the cards that life dealt me. I didn't plan on it being that way. And f**k me, it hasn't been easy, you know.''
The 'Steve Jobs' star feels very lucky to have met Ned and says he makes her very happy.
She said: ''Thank God for Ned - really. He's just so incredibly supportive, and he's so much fun. He's absolutely everything to me. And to all of us.''
