Kate Winslet thinks she's too smart for therapy.

The 'Dressmaker' actress admits she has sought guidance from a professional therapist but after just one session she gave up because she thought she could ''outsmart'' the counsellor and doesn't think she'll try it again.

She said: ''I tried therapy once and thought, 'Oh God, I could outsmart you, goodbye.' So I won't bother with that again.''

Kate - who has children Mia, 14, and Joe, 11, from her two previous marriages and 21-month-old son Bear with current husband Ned Rocknroll - also admitted she has a ''girl crush'' on her 23-year-old 'Divergent' co-star Shailene Woodley as she thinks the young actress is an ''outstanding human being''.

However, the 39-year-old actress admitted she does worry some other young actresses are ''a little bit thin''.

Asked her advice for young actresses, she told Net-A-Porter's digital magazine The EDIT: ''They all seem to be doing OK. Some of them are a little bit thin, but they all seem to be doing great.

''Shailene Woodley - whom I adore, respect, have a little bit of a girl crush on - is an outstanding human being. She's incredibly grounded, knows who she is and is doing great work, too.''
