Kathy Hilton has revealed that her daughter Paris Hilton is desperate to be a mother.

The 41-year-old socialite recently celebrated her first wedding anniversary with her husband Carter Reum and Kathy has admitted that the pair are "struggling" to start a family.

'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star told E! News: "It breaks my heart because I know she is trying and trying and I always say, 'Just relax'.

"So many people, they struggle and it doesn't just happen like that."

Kathy explained that Paris and Carter are very happy together and marked their anniversary at a carnival.

She said: "They are so happy.

"They had their one-year anniversary at the carnival and they want to do that annually. They were like two kids, it was really sweet."

Kathy, 63, has been embroiled in a feud with her sister Kyle Richards after making comments about her sibling to their 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' co-star Lisa Rinna and regrets that she couldn't tell the "whole story" in the recent reunion episode of the reality series.

She said: "I wish that I was able to tell my whole story, but there's eight of us – seven other girls – and you can't put into an hour show everything. I could have done a reunion that would have been a miniseries."

Despite the feud, Kathy said it was "wonderful" to reunite with her younger sister at BravoCon 2022 last month.

She explained: "I'm always happy to see her, she's my little sister and she looked beautiful and I'm very proud of her."
