Notoriously private couple Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx have reportedly spent a few days together on a secret getaway in Mexico just before the actress’ birthday. The pair travelled together without Katie’s young daughter, Suri before the ex-wife of Tom Cruise turned 38 last weekend.

It has been alleged that the reason Katie Holmes has not confirmed she’s dating long-rumoured boyfriend Jamie Foxx is because of a clause in her divorce from Tom Cruise. The report, published by RadarOnline, claims that Holmes’ 2012 divorce from Cruise contains a special clause, saying the actress cannot date another man publicly for five years.

Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes are officially a couple! Well, according to Foxx’s pal, former ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star, Claudia Jordan. Appearing on the Allegedly podcast on Tuesday (June 21) Jordan put an end to three years of rumours, by confirming that the two actors are in fact dating.

Jamie Foxx’s friend Claudia Jordan has confirmed he’s dating Katie Holmes.

When asked about her romantic history with Foxx, Jordan said: "[He's a] good friend of mine. Never [hooked up with him]." Then when quizzed about rumours of his relationship with Holmes, Jordan added, "He is very happy with her. I like that he seems very happy.”

Former ‘Friends’ star Matthew Perry has joined the cast of Reelz miniseries ‘The Kennedys — After Camelot’ as Ted Kennedy. Perry will star as the younger brother of JFK, opposite Katie Holmes who will reprise her role as former First Lady, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.

The 'Batman Begins' actress celebrated with friends on December 18th and then had dined out in New York City two days later, Us Weekly reports.

On her actual birthday (Dec 18th) she, along with a group of female and male friends, stopped off at Cafe Gitane, a French-Moroccan eatery in Manhattan's Nolita neighbourhood.

Tom Cuise has settled his defamation lawsuit with InTouch and Life & Style over the accusations that he had abandoned his daughter Suri, published by the tabloids last year. The settlement included a carefully worded apology by the defendants. In it, they claim: “Bauer Publishing, 'In Touch' and 'Life and Style' never intended to communicate that Tom Cruise had cut off all ties and abandoned his daughter Suri and regret if anyone drew that inference from anything they published.”

Cruise only settled on the condition that the tabloids in question apologise for their statements.

The settlement also states that each side is to pay its own legal fees, according to TMZ. The settlement was originally started by Cruise over accusations that he’d “abandoned” his then six-year-old daughter, following his public divorce from Katie Holmes.

Tom Cruise considers his job - as a ridiculously well paid actor with the aid of stunt doubles, assistants, makeup artists, chefs, personal trainers and a host of other employees catering to his every need - to be as difficult as training for the Olympics or being a soldier in the Middle East.

The 51-year-old actor is currently embroiled in a public relations disaster, since documents relating to his lawsuit against a magazine publisher were leaked online. The $50 million libel suit, against Life&Style and Touch magazines, concerns covers they produced which claimed Cruise had "abandoned his daughter" following his split from ex-wife Katie Holmes. 

RadarOnline were the first to publish the deposition, dating from September of this year. In the transcript, Cruise discussed his relationship with his daughter Suri and the reasons for their, allegedly, physically distant relationship.

Tom Cruise was left seething after two separate magazines published articles claiming that the actor has cast his youngest child, Suri, out of his life due to the complications of his divorce. The two stories claimed that seven-year-old Suri - who was six at the time when the articles were published - has a casualty in Tom and mother Katie Holmes' divorce and had been pushed out of her father's mind as he looked towards life without his family.

False alarm people, turns out Jamie Foxx isn't dating Katie Holmes after all. According to a recent story from In Touch, there were multiple reports stating that the two were seeing each other and it seemed as though they were on their way towards going steady. It didn't take long for Foxx to address these rumours though, as he quickly told Entertainment Weekly that the reports are bogus.

Leah Remini will tell all about her life as a Scientologist in her upcoming memoir. The 43 year old actress said, to US Weekly, her upcoming memoirs "will include my experiences, everything that's taboo to talk about."

Remini has revealed very little about her break from the Church of Scientology since her decision was announced over three weeks ago. It is believed the former King of Queens star left the church due to a number of disagreements with the Scientologists leader, David Miscavige. According to some reports, there has been tension between Remini and Miscavige since Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' wedding in 2006 (where Remini allegedly asked the whereabouts of Miscavige's wife).

Leah Remini has spoken for the first time about her decision to leave the Church of Scientology. The former King of Queens actress announced her decision earlier this month (11th July) and it was rumoured she had left due to a disagreement with the church's management.

She appears to have confirmed this rumour, whilst speaking to People at a DesignCare event in Malibu. She said: "I believe that people should be able to question things. I believe that people should value family, and value friendships, and hold those things sacrosanct." She went on to say "no one is going to tell me how I need to think, no one is going to tell me who I can, and cannot, talk to".

The King of Queens actress allegedly left the church following disagreements with its management. These disagreements are reported to have begun in 2006, at the wedding of Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise. She apparently asked David Miscavige where his wife was (Shelly Miscavige was withdrawing from public life at this time and she has not been seen in public since 2007).

The Church is notoriously secretive and in commenting on Remini they have remained as elusive as ever. A spokesperson for the Church said in a statement: "the Church respects the privacy of parishioners and has no comment about any individual Church member."

Wait a minute, wait a minute, who’s this Katie Holmes is kissing!? She’s not been seeing getting smoochy with anyone since her split with Tom Cruise last year. However, there have been pictures posted by the Daily Mail that show her getting intimate with someone of a definitely male and smoking hot persuasion. So who is it? And what’s going down?

Well, it’s just her co-star Luke Kirby, and the pair were filming Mania Days (disappointingly not a film about a road trip to watch Wrestlemania). However, there could be more than meets the eye, with the New York Daily News reckoning that there might be something going on off-screen between the pair. “The last month you rarely see her anymore,” a source told the paper’s Confidenti@l section about spotting Holmes around Chelsea, where she lives. “Whatever she’s trying to hide I don’t know, but she’s not going in the main entrance [of her building] any more.”

Maybe she’s trying to hide a fledgling romance with Kirkby? That’s what they seem to think anyway. Apparently at one point she was with him almost handing hands, but jumped in a cab as she spotted paparazzi leaving Kirkby by himself: “She bolted, jumped in the back of a cab and lied down in the back seat,” said a source. “Meanwhile Luke walked to a falafel place on MacDougal St. and was texting furiously and looking around. All of a sudden, Katie comes down the street. Normal people don’t act like this.” Hmmm…

Suri Cruise is launching her own fashion line, imaginatively titled 'Suri,' later this year. The 7-year-old daughter of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes has inked a deal worth £1.5 million deal to sell the range in a New York Department store this autumn, according to the UK's Sun newspaper.

If the brand sells, it will be rolled out in shops across North America at some point in 2014. A source said: "Suri is only seven but she is incredibly interested in clothes. She has been through a very difficult year and adapted amazingly to her new life in New York, including the upheaval of starting normal school," adding, "This is a nice hobby for her, it's certainly not going to take over her life. Most girls dream of being able to make their own clothes, this just means her drawings will now become a reality.It'll be interesting to see how it pans out, there's nothing around quite like it."

Suri's mother Katie and her stylist Jeanne Yang are also on board for the range, which covers everything from dresses, tops and shoes to accessories. The initial idea was for Suri to have her own fashion blog but the concept became more rounded after several firms approached Katie about a physical collection.

Tom Cruise reflected philosophically on his surprise divorce from American actress Katie Holmes during an interview with a German TV station in support of his new movie Oblivion. The couple announced last year that they were separating after five years of marriage, though many tabloid reports suggested Cruise - still one of the biggest Hollywood stars on the planet - was blindsided by the split. Some suggested Holmes had made an elaborate and well-planned exit from their home while Tom was away working, while other reports pointed towards his connections to Scientology and the education of their daughter Suri as the reason for the separation.

The exact reasoning is yet to emerge, though Cruise admits he was taken by surprise by the split. "I did not expect it," he told the channel ProSieben, noting that he'd had an "unbelievable amount of time to think" about it. Ultimately, Cruise is of the opinion that "life is a challenge," adding, "...to be 50 and to have experiences and to think you have everything under control, and then it hits you - that's what life is. Life is tragicomic, you need a sense of humour." Difficult to argue with that.

In a statement released at the time of their divorce, the high profile couple said they were committed to "working together as parents to accomplish what is in our daughter Suri's best interests." It is thought that Holmes, raised a Catholic, did not want her daughter brought up in the Church of Scientology.

Katie Holmes struck some sexy poses for Allure magazine recently, but there were also some genuine revelations sprinkled among the sultry shots as well.

In the accompanying interview, Holmes talked about the trials of 2012 – both in her personal life and globally. The star is hoping to leave the complicated divorce with Tom Cruise behind her and focus on being a devoted mother to daughter Suri. She might also consider a career change, after her disappointing return to acting in the Broadway show Dead Accounts: "I was open to—well, to whoever wanted me," she explains of taking on the role. "But it was always my goal to make it back to the stage."

However, after the play closed seven weeks earlier than expected, it appears Katie wouldn’t mind exploring some other opportunities. "Well, my brother and father are attorneys, and—we'll see. I like the practical thinking of attorneys." Well, the courtroom certainly calls for some acting experience, at least if Chicago is to be believed.

Katie Holmes recently spoke to Allure magazine for a front cover story and in what is one of the first personal insights into the actress' life since her well-publicised split from Tom Cruise last year, she gave an open and honest discussion about herself for the magazine.

Although she didn't discuss Cruise and their split in the interview, she did speak candidly about life after Cruise though, particularly her hopes of restarting family life and potentially adding to her brood. She told the magazine that she is 'open' to the idea of having more children in the near future, and although she didn't admit to having any potential fathers in mind, she told Allure, ‘I don’t know. I’m open to it.’

Katie Holmes may consider moving away from acting for a while.

Since her marriage with Tom Cruise broke down early last year, leading to a divorce in June, Katie Holmes hasn't really been linked with anyone else. She has, instead, been a devoted mother to her impeccably dressed daughter Suri, as well as trying to make it back into acting by appearing on Broadway in the recently closed show 'Dead Accounts'. With quite a bit of bad news surrounding her it's about time that she begins dating again. The first rumour is one about her and Jake Gyllenhaal, as the Sun reports.

"Josh [Jackson] has been the mastermind behind this romance," a source told the paper. "Katie says that they have tons in common and Jake has already been to see her in Dead Accounts, plus she has been over to his apartment in the West Village for dinner." Joshua Jackson is the star of Mighty Ducks, Holme's old colleague from Dawsons Creek and the pair have remained good friends. What the pair actually have in common remains unclear, and as yet there are no photos or substantiated reports of their being together, so that whole thing could be guff. However, Jake seems like a nice chap, and Katie could probably do with some companionship so we hope it's all true.

Gyllenhaal's dating past has been almost exclusively blondes, including Reese Witherspoon, Kirsten Dunst and recently Taylor Swift, so Holmes is a break from normality. However, given that all his past relationships ended, that could probably be a good thing.

Katie Holmes and Blake Lively were in danger of stealing the limelight from the host of rockers performing at last night’s Concert For Sandy Relief at New York’s Madison Square Garden (December 12, 2012). Even Kanye West turning up in a skirt couldn’t upstage these two glamour-pusses, who were all a-shimmer for the big event.

Holmes may be a recent divorcee at 33 and Lively a newlywed at 25, but the pair of them looked equally happy last night. Katie chose to wear a figure-hugging purple dress with velvet panels, designed by Tom Ford, suiting her own classic style down to the ground (well, down to the knees anyway). US Magazine have pictured Tom Cruise’s ex looking relaxed at the charity concert, which featured The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney & Nirvana and Bruce Springsteen, among others and she wore her hair loose, neatly accessorised with black pointy heels. Blake went for a studded red leather mini-dress, designed by Isabel Marant and nude caged ankle boots, designed by Christian Louboutin.

Blake, who recently married Ryan Reynolds, has been keeping a low profile of late, though she and her new husband had been spotted enjoying a break in Paris at the start of this month. Both Katie and Blake were looking stunning last night; they almost put some of the musicians to shame when it came to grabbing the limelight.

Katie Holmes' new black comedy Dead Accounts had its official opening at Broadway's Music Box Theatre on Thursday (November 29, 2012). Tony Award winner Jack O'Brien (Hairspray) directs the Cincinnati-set play that began previews on November 5.

It represents Holmes' first major week since her acrimonious split from husband Tom Cruise, though she appeared a picture of happiness at the premiere photo-call in New York. Wearing an oriental-inspired Bottega Veneta floral blouse, the actress stepped out after the performance looking decidedly happy with her evenings work. The performance actually received mixed reviews from critics. The New York Times said, "Dead Accounts is, I think, meant to be about the inflation of the superficial in a materialistic society, and the attendant, unsatisfied craving for belief. ... But the play never follows through convincingly on any of its ideas," while the Associated Press said, "Holmes relies too much on a whiny teenage angst and a guilelessness that worked on TV but lacks nuance onstage. That said, she does generate two of the biggest cheers in the play." The Los Angeles Times commended Holmes for being "charming" and "natural." The play is written by Pulitzer Prize finalist Theresa Rebeck, the creator of the NBC musical series 'Smash.'

Gossip websites reacted with shock today when Hollywood star Katie Holmes was spotted getting from A to B on the New York underground.

'What?!' I hear you cry over the din of several thousand jaws hitting the ground in horror. Yep, the one and only Katie Holmes from 'Dawson's Creek' was forced to go incognito as she braved the busy method of public transport in a plain cream sweater, blue jeans and sunglasses.

Okay, so it's not exactly breaking news, nor is it really a scandal. Though it does make one speculate about how much was left to Holmes following her spectacular divorce from movie legend Tom Cruise; using public transport either suggests she's broke and can't afford a chauffeur, or that she's becoming super eco-friendly. or that it's probably quicker to get around the city on a train than in a car on those busy streets. Either way, it's a great normalization of celebrities as she becomes the latest in a string of stars to take to the subway. Jake Gyllenhaal, Jay Z, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Alba, Hugh Jackman, Lindsay Lohan and Bradley Cooper have all been seen on the Non-Celebrity Express which kind of suggests that the underground locomotive is the new stretched limo.
