Actress Katie Holmes refuses to rule out a career change as she is intrigued by the prospect of practising law.
Earlier this year (13), the former Dawson's Creek star was rumoured to be enrolling in law school, and now admits she would consider following in the footsteps of her attorney father Martin J. Holmes, Sr., who specialises in divorce law.
She tells U.S. magazine Allure, "Well, my brother and father are attorneys, and - we'll see. I like the practical thinking of attorneys."
Holmes was dealt a blow in her professional life when her Broadway play Dead Accounts closed early in January (13), but she is adamant she was thrilled to appear in the cast.
She adds, "I was open to - well, to whoever wanted me. But it was always my goal to make it back to the stage."
