Katie Price has compared her old relationship with ex-husband Peter Andre as being like “Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie” - at least in the minds of the British public.

When they tied the knot in 2005, Andre and Price were arguably the hottest celebrity coupling in Britain, having fallen in love in the public eye the previous year on ‘I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here’. They went on to have two children – Junior, now 10, and Princess Tiaamii, now 8 – before divorcing in 2009.

However, the 37 year old former glamour model Price still thinks that the public is still obsessed with them, even though that she has been married twice subsequently and had two more children.Speaking to The Sun’s Fabulous magazine, she said: “We've both moved on, but we're like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie - everyone is obsessed with our exes… That is in the past for both of us now.”

Andre is now, of course, featuring in the 2015 edition of the perennial BBC fave ‘Strictly Come Dancing’, and Price reckons he stands an excellent chance of winning. “I think Peter will be brilliant because he's a great dancer and he'll want everyone to see that. I'd tell anyone to put a bet on him because I think he's going to win it.”

This doesn’t mean however, that the pair are on good terms. Price apparently doesn’t even speak to her ex-husband any more, and admitted that she wouldn’t be watching his progress on ‘Strictly’. “I'm not going to be sitting next to Kieran on the sofa watching Pete,” she dismissed.

Elsewhere in the interview, she also spoke about the present state of her relationship with her current husband Kieran Hayler, to whom she gave a second chance after it came out a couple of years ago that he had cheated on her with one of her best friends, Jane Pountney.

“Other people think Kieran is a cheat and a liar, but I don't care what they think,” she said defiantly. “I'm the harshest judge and I know how much he has changed. In the past two years he's gone from a boy to a man. I trust him 100 per cent.”

“When he cheated on me, everyone told me to get rid of him. It would have been easy to do. But there was something in me that knew I shouldn't give up on him, and I've learnt a lesson about myself because I've never before been good about second chances.”
