The Target employee that was filmed receiving a slap from troubled comedian Katt Williams provoked the attack by using the 'N-word' - at least thats what Katt is saying anyway.

According to a video obtained by TMZ, the funny-man described the whole event during a performance at Hollywood's The Comedy Store, saying that prior to the attack on November 25th, the employee said to Williams; "Your assistant is already suing you, you p**sy ass n***er." Katt goes on to say that he replied with, "Say it again and see what happens," after which he hit the guy on the side of the head.

The employee's first jab is a reference to the lawsuit Katt is facing from former assistant who claims the comic punched her and is suing him for $5 million, but where the dropping of the N-Bomb came from is beyond us.

The Target employee, named Forrest Liebenberg, was actually fired from his job shortly after the incident, with Target remaining mum on the reason why. Likewise, calls to Liebenberg from various celeb sites have not returned, which may add some credibility to Williams' excuse. Meanwhile, Williams is still facing charges for a string of offences he committed after the Target incident, including being chased by cops in Sacramento on Nov. 27, attacking an audience member in Seattle 3 days after and becoming embroiled in a bar fight on Dec. 3.
