Katy Perry covered Lady GaGa's hit single 'Born This Way' during a concert in Paris this week.
Katy Perry, the American singer who is currently performing on her 'California Dreams' world tour, played a stripped down version of Lady Gaga's latest single 'Born This Way' at a show in Paris, reports the UK's Metro newspaper.Perry surprised fans by singing Gaga's hit accompanied by just two guitarists. The singer, who donned a one-shoulder dress for the show, sat on a stool as she belted out the hit song. During her current tour, the 26-year-old has also performed covers of Rihanna's 'Only Girl (In The World) as well as Jay-Z's 'Big Pimpin' and Willow Smith's 'Whip My Hair'. Perry's latest cover may come as a shock to some fans of the star, after she slammed Gaga for her use of religious imagery in her 'Alejandro' video, tweeting, "Using blasphemy as entertainment is as cheap as a comedian telling a fart joke".
Katy Perry was recently unveiled as the new face of hair styling brand Ghd. The singer, who is married to British singer Russell Brand, appears in a new campaign for the company shot by renowned photographer DAVID LACHAPELLE.
