Hillary Clinton already had a song in mind.
Hillary Clinton might be hitting the 2016 campaign trail soon and she’s got an unlikely ally along the way. Katy Perry, songstress, label boss and cupcake enthusiast has offered to pen a campaign song for Hillary, should she decide to run.
She may have stumbled along the way, but these days Perry is all about female empowerment.
"I told hillaryclinton that I would write her a "theme" song if she needs it," the singer said Friday on Instagram, a day after she met Clinton at a book signing for Clinton's new memoir "Hard Choices."

Clinton replied via Twitter, letting her followers know that she already had a song in mind.
.@katyperry Well that’s not a Hard Choice. You already did! Keep letting us hear you Roar.

With lyrics like “I am a champion and you’re gonna hear me roar” it sounds like an apt choice of anthem. Now we just have to wait for the campaign announcement.
Perry, who is an outspoken democrat and a self-professed feminist, has supported Barack Obama in previous elections, so putting her influence behind Hilary Clinton in 2016 seems like a natural transition.

Plus, after her “strong woman” comments and the founding of her own label, Metamorphosis, Perry can identify with Clinton, who is an advocate for equality, women’s rights and empowerment.
Clinton welcomed the support. It's a brand new alliance.
