Perry attended Kanye's gig in L.A. on Tuesday for her 32nd birthday, and made a sly dig at her pop rival's expense.
Katy Perry decided to fan the flames of her two-year rivalry with Taylor Swift while partying for her 32nd birthday at Kanye West’s gig in Los Angeles this week, sharing a video of herself dancing to the rapper’s controversial lyric about Taylor in his track ‘Famous’.
In the short clip, Perry widens her eyes and smiles at the part of the track where Kanye raps: “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that b**** famous”.

The sly dig at Swift’s expense came two nights after both of them attended Drake’s 30th birthday party, at which their mutual ex-boyfriend John Mayer was also present. Apparently, TayTay spent the entire evening ducking both of them, according to an eyewitness.
“Katy and John chatted, but Taylor avoided both of them,” a source told the New York Times’ Page Six. “The tension was so thick, you could cut it with a knife.”

The bad blood between them started back in early 2014, when three of Perry’s back-up dancers left her Prismatic World Tour to join Swift’s Red Tour, before Perry tried to poach them back, a move that would have meant them having to quit Swift’s tour early.
“She did something so horrible,” Swift said without getting into specifics in a Rolling Stone interview that same year.
“I was like, ‘Oh, we're just straight-up enemies’. And it wasn't even about a guy! It had to do with business. She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me. And I’m surprisingly non-confrontational – you would not believe how much I hate conflict. So now I have to avoid her. It’s awkward, and I don’t like it.”
