There is much fun to be had watching the video for Katy Perry's latest single 'Swish Swish' featuring Nicki Minaj. It was the third single to be released from her latest album 'Witness', released in June 2017 on Capitol Records.
Directed by Dave Meyers, it's a comedic video with a basketball setting - Bingo's Bail Bond Stadium (actually The National Stadium in Warsaw) - and stars actors Molly Shannon ('Divorce'), Terry Crews ('Brooklyn Nine-Nine'), Gatan Matarazzo ('Stranger Things'), Jenna Ushkowitz ('Glee') and the cast of 'GLOW'. There are also several sports stars, body-builders, professional dancers and viral sensations the likes of the Backpack Kid (Russell Horning) who shot to fame after getting up on stage during her 'Saturday Night Live' performance of the song and rocking some incredible dance moves.
The video features a snippet of Bag Raiders' 'Shooting Stars, while the song itself samples 'Star 69' by Fatboy Slim. It was produced by Duke Dumont, Noah Passovoy and PJ Sledge.
