We've seen Keanu Reeves defy gravity and jump between realities as Neo in The Matrix, but we weren't prepared for how incredibly calm he reportedly remained when faced with a complete stranger in his own home.

50-year-old Reeves was asleep at his home in the Hollywood Hills on Monday (15th September) when he was awoken at 4am. According to TMZ, he heard noises coming from his library and, upon entering the room, discovered a middle aged woman had broken into his house. The woman in question was reportedly just sat in one of his library chairs.

It's fair to say most of us would have panicked and probably run from the room screaming, but not Reeves. Reeves allegedly remained perfectly calm and asked the woman what she was doing in his home. The woman replied that she was waiting for him. Still keeping his cool, Reeves rang the police and requested assistance. The woman was apprehended and reportedly underwent a psychological evaluation.

Yet it's not only Reeves' response which has amazed the LAPD, but how the woman managed to get inside his seemingly secure house. Apparently one of the reasons is that Reeves had not set his alarm that night!

It's alarming how often overzealous fans manage to gain access to their heroes' houses. Earlier this year, Sandra Bullock discovered an intruder outside her bedroom door. Fortunately she was able to lock her bedroom door, ring the police, and the man in question was arrested. Last year, Jennifer Lopez's staff discovered (after a number of days) that one of her fans was living on her New York estate.
