Keira Knightley posed topless for a magazine earlier this year (14) on the condition editors refrained from digitally enlarging her breasts.

The Atonement star agreed to pose semi-naked in the shoot for Interview, but insisted the image was not modified.

She tells Britain's The Times newspaper, "I've had my body manipulated so many different times for so many different reasons, whether it's for paparazzi photographers or for film posters. And that (Interview shoot) was one of the ones where I said, 'Ok, I'm fine doing the topless shot so long as you don't make them any bigger or retouch.' Because it does feel important to say it really doesn't matter what shape you are."

Knightley's breasts have long been discussed after being enlarged in pictures in the past, most notably in a promotional poster for 2004 movie King Arthur.

At the time, Knightley said, "They always pencil in my boobs. I was only angry when they were really, really droopy. For King Arthur, for a poster, they gave me these strange droopy t**s... I thought, 'Well, if you're going to make me fantasy breasts, at least make perky breasts'."
