So successful was country music judge Keith Urban, that American Idol have signed up for more. Fox entertainment chief Kevin Reilly confirmed the news, and hinted that something may be close for Jennifer Lopez to make a return to the show.

"Keith did a great job last year. The fans really liked him. Keith's a really funny guy," Reilly said. "You could see how much he loved the show." Urban will slide back into judging action when Idol returns in January 2014.

But Will J-Lo be donning her winter attire and joining the country star on the panel?

"Jennifer has been a close part of the show all along. Obviously, she's even been on it since she left the panel, so there have been discussions there. There is no deal with her," Reilly said. It's our guess that she will return, but with Urban the only confirmed judge after Nicki Minaj, Mariah Carey and Randy Jackson all jumped ship, the execs better get pen to paper with some stars fast.

"We want judges that are good at the job, that people like and refocus our attention on the contestants. I think even our own marketing maybe skewed that a little. It really became too much about the judges," Reilly said of the hunt for new judges.

One change has been made behind the scenes, though, with Per Blankens - the guy that overlooked Idol in Sweden - replacing longtime exec producers Nigel Lythgoe and Ken Warwick.
