Kelly Clarkson has been forced to cancel yet more of her current world tour because of excess strain on her vocal cords. Having pulled out of half a dozen dates in her native America last month, she’s now been advised by doctors to drop all her remaining concerts scheduled in the UK and Canada in 2015.

33 year old Clarkson, who is pregnant with her second child, announced the bad news via her website on Thursday evening (October 1st). “I am truly sorry that I have to cancel the remainder of my tour dates," the statement read. "I was so looking forward to sharing this tour with all my amazing fans in Canada and the UK. Unfortunately my doctor is telling me I have to stay on vocal rest, but I am working hard to get better as fast as possible.”

Singer Kelly Clarkson has been forced to cancel six dates on her current tour due to doctor’s orders. Clarkson apologised to fans after making the announcement, saying she couldn't wait to get healthy and go back out on the road.

Clarkson has had to pull out of two shows in Vienna, Virginia, one in Tampa Florida and another in West Palm Beach as well as ones in Raleigh, North Carolina and in Camden, New Jersey. The shows were scheduled to take place this week and continue into the next.

Singer Demi Lovato has celebrated her 23rd birthday with a new addition to her family, a puppy named Batman. Batman’s arrival comes a month after Lovato and boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama tragically lost their dog Buddy, who reportedly died as a result of a coyote attack.

“Ummm... guys.... meet Batman.....,” Lovato captioned an Instagram photo of the cute, black puppy sleeping on her sofa. Lovato also posted a pic of her new addition’s collar and another adorable image which she captioned, ‘#Batman... my little super hero…’

Congratulations are in order for former ‘American Idol’ contestant Kelly Clarkson who has announced she’s expecting her second child. The singer spilled the big news during her concert at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles on Wednesday night telling the crowd, “I'm totally pregnant!”

Country music star Reba McEntire has announced that she’s splitting from her husband of 26 years Narvel Blackstock. However, though their romance has ended, the former couple intend to continue their professional relationship, as Blackstock is her current manager.

The 60 year old country music veteran and her manager / producer husband, 58, revealed on Monday (August 3rd) that they had split after living apart for several months. However, representatives for the couple did not confirm whether they were filing for divorce yet.

Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton are divorcing. The country music superstars are separating after four years of marriage. The news was broken earlier today (20th July) by an entertainment website which unearthed the preliminary legal documents. Shortly after the news broke the former couple confirmed they were parting ways.

At one point it was the most popular reality in U.S. TV history, but ‘American Idol’ is coming to an end. Fox announced today that the upcoming fifteenth season would be the final one.

At the peak of its popularity, ‘American Idol’ was watched by more than 30 million viewers, and helped launch the careers of the likes of Kelly Clarkson, Jordin Sparks and Carrie Underwood. However, its ratings have waned over recent years, and Fox have decided to pull the plug.

In another instalment of the ongoing struggle between record labels and streaming sites, Sony has removed a number its artists from SoundCloud, including Adele, in a dispute over royalties.

Sony pulled a number of its artists’ original music from the Swedish site on Thursday (May 7th), including Hozier, MR MS, Miguel, Passion Pit and Kelly Clarkson in addition to Adele. At the time of writing, they have not put them back, and more labels and artists are believed to be considering the same course of action.

Pink has become the latest celebrity to speak out against social media body-shaming. The 35 year old singer took to Twitter after receiving some barbed criticisms about her physique, having attended a cancer benefit evening on Saturday (April 11th).

“I can see that some of you are concerned about me from your comments about my weight,” she tweeted on Sunday evening, via a short statement she had prepared and then screen-grabbed.

The Fox News anchor at the centre of the Kelly Clarkson “fat-shaming” controversy this weekend has publicly apologised to the singer at to those offended by his comments. Chris Wallace had made the remarks during an interview with conservative radio pundit Mike Gallagher on the latter’s show.

In a statement issued to Mediaite on Sunday night, the 67 year old anchor said: “I sincerely apologize to Kelly Clarkson for my offensive comment. I admire her remarkable talent and that should have been the focus of any discussion about her.”

This week, a Fox News presenter is in trouble for saying something not nice to a prominent woman, Kelly Clarkson. See also: life resumes as normal. During his Friday appearance on The Mike Gallagher Show, Chris Wallace decided to have a dig at the pop singer, jus a couple weeks after Katie Hopkins did the same on social media.

Kelly Clarkson is yet to acknowledge the unpleasant comments.

It’s to be expected from both Hopkins and Wallace, but still, the comments were pretty unnecessary. To be fair to Wallace, he was kind of baited into giving the unfortunate sound bite by Gallagher himself.

Kelly Clarkson’s post-baby body has been subjected to some very unfair and frankly nasty (we’re looking at you Katie Hopkins) scrutiny as of late. But sadly it's all nothing that the singer hasn’t been dealing with since she first came onto the music scene. Speaking to Ellen DeGeneres, Clarkson said she’s been dealing with comments about her weight since she appeared on ‘American Idol’ back in 2002 and people’s ugly words are nothing new.

"I love how people think that’s new," Kelly told Ellen when asked about recent comments regarding the singer’s weight. "Like, welcome to the past 13 years.” Referring to British personality Katie Hopkins, who publicly made fun of the singer Clarkson said, "People are like, 'I'm so sorry that lady in London was so mean to you.' And I'm like, 'Are you serious?' Like, get in line!”

'Invincible' singer Kelly Clarkson has admitted she did in fact once date her ‘American Idol’ co-star Justin Guarini, during an appearance on Andy Cohen’s talk show, where she played the revealing ‘Plead The Fifth’ game.

Clarkson has admitted to counting Justin Guarini among her exes.

Guarini had claimed during his one man show Lovesick last year that he and Kelly had dated, causing Cohen to cheekily ask the singer, "What happened between the two of you: second base?”

Although she was roundly criticised by all and sundry for her barbed comments about Kelly Clarkson’s weight, Katie Hopkins has gone even further with her criticisms about the singer.

In an interview with Access Hollywood on Wednesday, the controversial British columnist and TV personality, referred to in some quarters as ‘The Most Hated Woman in Britain’, continued her onslaught by claiming that there is “no such thing as fat-shaming”.
