We know that many people have really weird phobias, but Kendall Jenner takes the biscuit with her crippling fear of pancakes. We're guessing breakfasts are difficult for this 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star, which probably explains how she manages to maintain such a trim figure.

Okay, so she's not specifically afraid of pancakes, but this 20-year-old model does have a recognised phobia called trypophobia which is the irrational fear of clusters of small holes. It sounds bizarre, but after Googling it we've decided that we totally understand. Though we still love pancakes.

'Anyone who knows me knows that I have really bad trypophobia', she revealed on her website. 'Trypophobics are afraid of tiny little holes that are in weird patterns. Things that could set me off are pancakes, honeycomb or lotus heads (the worst!).'

'It sounds ridiculous but so many people actually have it!' She continued. 'I can't even look at little holes - it gives me the worst anxiety. Who knows what's in there???'

Before you start making fun of her though, it's worth knowing that big sister Khloé Kardashian also has a weird phobia. 'I hate belly buttons', she admitted, according to People. 'You can't touch mine and I don't want to touch yours. When I'm in the shower, I wear hand mitts and I scream every time I wash my belly button.'

Other celebrities who have admitted to having irrational fears are Billy Bob Thornton who hates antique furniture and silverware, Sarah Michelle Gellar has a phobia of cemeteries ('Buffy The Vampire Slayer' notwithstanding) and Nicole Kidman panics at the sight of butterflies.

Trypophobia is actually the tenth most common phobia according to FearOf.net. The others are aerophobia (fear of flying), mysophobia (fear of germs), claustrophobia (fear of small spaces), astraphobia (fear of thunder), cynophobia (fear of dogs), agoraphobia (fear of open spaces), acrophobia (fear of heights), ophidiophobia (fear of snakes) and, of course, arachnophobia (fear of spiders).
