Police have arrested a man in Los Angeles for allegedly stalking reality TV star and model Kendall Jenner, it has been reported.

The Associated Press published a report on Tuesday that a 25 year old male, named as Shavaughn McKenzie, was arrested by the LAPD on Sunday night (August 14th) at roughly 9:45pm. They were responding to a call from Jenner herself, reporting the man standing just outside her driveway at her home in West Hollywood.

McKenzie was charged with felony stalking, according to the report, with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department showing him as being held on a $180,000 bail.

As she pulled through the private gate at her home near the Chateau Marmont, the stalker was waiting there and tried to get close to Jenner as she made her way up the driveway. She sought refuge in her car and called the cops, remaining there until he was arrested shortly afterwards on suspicion of stalking.

Sergeant Leonard Calderon of the LAPD later confirmed to the Associated Press the details of the arrest.

Jenner learned that there was already a warrant issued for McKenzie’s arrest at that point, though further details of this have yet to be made public. The Los Angeles Times reports that he pleaded no contest to two counts of trespassing back in May this year.

The 20 year old model had just returned from a short holiday in the Caribbean, where she had celebrated with her younger sister Kylie as she turned 19.

She bought the property from Emily Blunt and John Krasinski earlier this year for a reported $6.5 million. The luxury house has six bedrooms and five bathrooms, covering 4,800 square feet.
