Keri Hilson, the 25-year-old American rapper whose forthcoming album 'No Boys Allowed' hits the shelves tomorrow (21st December 2010), has spoken about working with legendary producer Dr Dre on his new record 'Detox'. The singer recently confirmed speculation that she was collaborating with the 45-year-old on his highly-anticipated new album and described him as a 'perfectionist'.
Speaking to Rap-Up.com, the singer said, "Dr. Dre is incredible. He's somebody I always kind of thought, 'Wow, I wonder what his method is. I wonder what it's like to be in the room while he does what he does,' and I got to see it". Hilson went on to add, "He's very much a perfectionist and it kinda made me understand myself a little bit, why I'm so particular about certain things. I saw myself in his light and it was great". 'Detox' is scheduled to be released in 2011, and will be Dre's third and final studio album.
Hilson's new record, 'No Boys Allowed' features collaborations with Chris Brown, Rick Ross, Kanye West, Timbaland and soul singer John Legend has co-written one of the tracks on the album. It is expected that the record's third single will be 'The Way You Love Me' after the video premiered on November 28th 2010.
