Ke$ha wanted to be in ''kick-ass shape'' for her current tour and says the show's gruelling choreography has made her take her health more seriously.
Ke$ha believes her tour has inspired her to slim down.
The 'Die Young' hitmaker reveals her ongoing world tour is the reason behind her recent health kick because she wants to be in perfect condition when performing the strenuous choreography.
Speaking to heat magazine, she said: ''I think it's my show [that inspired me]! If you come and see my show, it's pretty gruelling. My album is called 'Warrior', so I just want to embody that. I want to be in kick-ass shape, mentally and physically.''
However, the 26-year-old singer doesn't believe in dropping the pounds in order to fit into revealing clothing. Instead Ke$ha claims she'd happily wear whatever she feels comfortable in.
She explained: ''I think that what really matters is you should always wear what you look good in and feel comfortable and confident in. But, more importantly, if you're a good person and having fun, why not be confident?''
The blonde beauty admits she doesn't love her body and there are bits she'd like to change but she's learned to embrace her figure and work with what she's got.
She said: ''There are tons of things [I don't like about my body] but I'm at that point right now here I'm trying to accept every little bit of me. Trust me, I don't have the perfect body, but I don't have anything else to work with, so I might as well just accept it.
''That's why I wrote 'We R Who We R'. You just have to accept yourself.''
