Kevin Spacey spends his life trying to make everywhere he goes feel like ''home''.
Kevin Spacey is constantly searching for ''home''.
The 'House of Cards' actor was born in New Jersey, raised in California and has also lived in Manhattan and London, and tries to make himself as comfortable as possible wherever he goes after such an unsettled upbringing.
He said: ''My family moved so much that we'd have Thanksgiving in one house and Christmas in another, so I've spent my life trying to make everywhere I go home.''
The 55-year-old actor studied at the prestigious Julliard School of performing arts, but left before graduating and is convinced he would have been thrown out if he hadn't quit his studies voluntarily.
He said: ''I am fairly convinced if I hadn't dropped out, they would have booted me out a few weeks later.''
After taking a break from Hollywood to be creative director of the Old Vic theatre in London, Kevin has returned to acting and won a string of awards for his portrayal of devious President Frank Underwood in 'House of Cards' and admits he feels like the ''luckiest guy'' in the world because of the career he has had.
He told Gotham magazine: ''I couldn't have written it better. I'm so pleased to be able to do the stuff I do. Frankly, I'm living the dream. There's no doubt about it. I am the luckiest guy walking the face of the earth.''
