Khloé Kardashian has reportedly been gifted a new security team by the producers of her E! reality show 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' over fears about her safety after a run-in with estranged husband Lamar Odom last month.
Khloé Kardashian has been given a new security team.
The 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star was left ''emotionally shaken'' after a run-in with estranged husband Lamar Odom last month and the crew behind her E! show reportedly don't want to ''take any chances'' regarding her safety.
A source said: ''Nobody was going to take any chances with Khloé's safety, so the decision was made to hire bodyguards. Of course, the whole drama is going to be a storyline for the upcoming season.
''Khloé didn't want to pay for a bodyguard out of her own pocket when she wasn't filming, but she hasn't been alone since the incident with Lamar.''
However, the 31-year-old beauty isn't worried about her safety when she is at home as she lives in a gated complex with brother Rob Kardashian.
The insider added: ''Khloé feels very secure at her mansion because she lives in a gated community, and her mansion is also behind gates. She has cameras all over the property as well. Her brother Rob and boyfriend James Harden are constantly around.''
Despite Khloé's apparent nerves, a source close to Lamar insists she has nothing to worry about.
They told RadarOnline.com: ''The meeting wasn't an ambush and Khloé had nothing to be afraid of. He knows their marriage is over, and it's just a matter of time before the divorce becomes finalised. He is moving on, and is no threat to Khloé's safety.''
