Kim Kardashian has reunited with her husband Kanye West after being held at gunpoint during a terrifying robbery in Paris at the weekend.

The 35 year old reality TV star and entrepreneur flew into New Jersey’s Teterboro airport on Monday (October 3rd), barely 12 hours after she was robbed of millions of dollars’ worth of jewellery when masked men, disguised as police officers, broke into her accommodation in Paris the day before.

Having met her mom, Kris Jenner, and a large number of security guards at the airport, she travelled rapidly to their New York City apartment where Kanye soon showed up.

For his part, Kanye was performing in Queens at the Meadows Art & Music Festival when he heard about what had happened to his wife. It caused him to abruptly stop the gig, saying: “I'm sorry, family emergency - I have to stop the show.”

Unnamed sources confirmed to E! News that Kim “was held up at gunpoint… by two armed masked men dressed as police officers” at around 3am local time at the apartment that Kanye owns in the French capital.

Fortunately, her two children North (3) and Saint (9 months) were not staying with her at the time, and Kim was “badly shaken but physically unharmed”, according to a statement given by her representative to CNN the following morning.

“She begged for them to let her live and [said] she has babies at home… She thought they were for sure going to kill her,” the source said, also revealing she was tied to a chair while the crime was being committed.

The French Interior Ministry is hunting a total of five men who are believed to have taken part in the execution of the robbery.
