Reality TV star Kim Kardashian has been speaking to US Weekly about her plans for 2012. Kim had a tumultuous 2011 which saw her get engaged, married and divorced, as well as coming under fire for reportedly using sweatshops to manufacture the Kardashian brand's clothing. Kim took time out of her New Year's Eve appearance at Tao Nightclub to tell reporters that she will be following her heart in 2012 and learning from the lessons of 2011.
She told reporters "I think a good lesson I learned about myself is to always follow your heart and I think I'll never stop doing that.[I'm looking forward to] just having a really good 2012 and soaking in all the lessons learned in 2011. That's it. Simple." After filing for divorce from Kris Humphries after just 72 days of marriage, Kim Kardashian reportedly moved back into her mother's house in Los Angeles. At the nightclub party appearance - for which she was reportedly paid $600, 000 - she said that she wanted to put the past behind her and was looking forward to "moving forward and not looking back."
Kim came under a great deal of public criticism for her short-lived marriage to the basketball player Humphries. The comedian Kathy Griffin used the marriage as the subject of one of a string of jokes about the Kardashian family in her Tired Hooker stand-up show. Kris Jenner, Kim's mother also called for the actor Daniel Craig to apologize after slighting her daughter in an interview with GQ magazine.
