Kim Kardashian says baby North is far more stylish than she ever was.

The reality star was ''blown away'' when her four-month-old daughter - whose father is rapper Kanye West - was lavished with gifts from top designers including Riccardo Tisci and Alexander Wang during Paris Fashion Week, and loves dressing the adorable tot up in fashionable clothes.

She told Vogue.co.uk: ''I was just blown away by the generosity of the designers for sending me those pieces. Not all of the brands even make clothes for babies. This is the fun part right? Dressing her up and making her look nice. She's much more stylish than I was when I was little, absolutely.''

Kim and her sisters Khloe and Kourtney have teamed up with high street favourite Lipsy for their new Kardashian Kollection range, and the 33-year-old brunette says the aim was to make feel-good pieces to flatter the female figure.

She explained: ''Valentino and Isabel Marant aren't really our style, but their influence is reflected in the collection. That idea of casual comfort that people love inspired the fabrics - there's a lot of stretch.

''You know an Alaïa dress will hold and suck you in? I wanted to make pieces like that, pieces to make you feel really good about yourself.''

Kim claims she busied herself with her fashion projects to avoid dwelling on media criticism about her body shape during her pregnancy.

She admitted: ''For me, having people criticise what I wore and looked like when I was pregnant - that was hard. It made me feel insecure, so I have tried to avoid the limelight more. Once you start focusing on the other stuff, the fragrances and our fashion line, you stop worrying about the rest.''

The Kardashian Kollection for Lipsy launches on October 24.
