A Halloween costume inspired by Kim Kardashian’s Paris robbery last week has caused outrage after it appeared for sale online.

California-based company Costumeish are selling a “Parisian Heist Robbery Victim Costume Kit” for $69.99. While the description doesn't explicitly name Kardashian, it does reference ‘the Queen of Social media’.

The kit comes with: a ‘white short sexy robe’, a ‘long black wig’, ‘"$4 million dollar" ring’, ‘large sunglasses’, ‘fake gag’ and ‘2” of rope’.

The site’s description reads: “This Halloween it's all about the #Hallomeme and who better than America's goddess of all things glamorous ‘Parisian Heist Robbery Victim Costume?’

“She has devoted her life to promoting American decadence, youth, and hedonism but all that flashy living caught up with her one night in Paris when armed men bound her, stole her jewelry and her peace of mind."

The description adds: “This Halloween have some fun with pop culture and dress just like the Queen of Social media with our sensational 'Parisian Heist Robbery Victim Costume" Costume'."

Fans online were quick to brand the costume disgusting and disrespectful and called for Costumeish to pull it from the site. One tweeter wrote: ‘A costume company made a @KimKardashian Robbery Victim costume. This is so disrespectful,’

Another added: ‘The @KimKardashian costume is TOTALLY disgusting. A mother of two was held at gun point in a bathrobe for some jewelry.’

A third tweeter wrote: ‘This costume is not only f**king tasteless but completely disrespectful of a very serious situation that not only Kim Kardashian has experienced but countless other women and men.’

Costumeish is yet to comment on the backlash surrounding the costume. The site also sells an ‘Adult Bruce Gender Olympian Costume’ and a ‘Donald the Wall Builder Costume’.
