Kim Kardashian’s fans are used to being updated on the star’s every move on her social media accounts and app.

But since her Paris robbery ordeal two weeks ago, Kim has stayed silent online as she continues her recovery and rethinks her social media presence.

Now Kim’s assistant Stephanie Sheppard has updated fans on the reality star’s well-being and assured them that her app will keep on going, even if Kim herself is taking some time off.

“Hey guys. So you may have noticed we haven’t updated the app in a couple weeks,” Sheppard said in a handwritten note on Kim’s website.

“Keeks is taking some much needed time off. But not to worry … we’ve called upon Kim’s closest friends, fam and yours truly to serve up some exclusives".

“Stay tuned for new posts and app takeovers!! Thank you so much for your support for my girl," Sheppard added, before signing off,  "Love you mean it!”

Sheppard has worked as Kim’s assistant for almost four years and had travelled to Paris with her earlier this month.

Last week Kim made a brief return to Twitter, but only to unfollow certain accounts, something which only eagle-eyed fans noticed.

Then later in the week she was spotted out for the first time since returning to LA, making a brief stop at a restaurant to meet a friend.

An eyewitness told E! News: "She was with security. She made a brief, 30-minute trip to a restaurant in Beverly Hills. She was with a female friend and looked very downcast and somber, not wanting to be seen.”
