Kim Kardashian West wants to ''chill out'' with Kanye West for their first wedding anniversary.

The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star, who tied the knot with the 'New Slaves' rapper in a lavish ceremony in Florence, Italy on May 24 last year, is looking forward to celebrating the occasion later this month and insists ''it's just not hard'' being married.

The 34-year-old beauty said: ''We were supposed to go to Africa. A good friend got us a safari for our wedding gift. [But] I think we're just going to stay home and chill out. I feel like May is a really busy month for us so I think we just want to hang out and relax. Unless he has something planned, he always has something up his sleeve, he always has something planned, so I don't put it past him to do something really special.

''They say that the first year and everything in marriage is the hardest, and I'm like, 'If this is the hardest, then life is going to be really good - because it's just not hard.' ''

The couple, who have 22-month-old daughter North, are still trying to conceive another baby ''every single day.''

Kim said: ''We are trying. We try every single day. You can't try harder than we try. It's getting exhausting. He always says, 'Trying for baby number two isn't as fun as baby number one.'

''I did go through a lot with the [first] delivery and so we faced a couple of challenges, but we are literally trying everything that we can to make it happen. I'm to the point now where it's not as stressful to me and maybe that's when they say it happens.''

But Kim is in no rush to use a surrogate.

She told E! News: ''I think if it came to that point, but I think we've been trying for over a year and I would maybe wait a couple of years until that point happened.''
