8. King Britt Presents Sylk 130 Rising (12" -(Six Degrees) )

King Britt released his latest long player just a couple of months ago. Rising is another outtake from the album that was dedicated to the sound of eighties dance music. Featuring the harmonious vocals of one Kathy Sister Sledge this single takes on the eighties from a Mantronix point of view.

Its not quite as instantaneous as its predecessor Happiness but the vocals and slouchy violins nevertheless make it a winner. Mixes from 95 North, Joshu and DJ Dozia brng things back up to date with varying dance versions.
