The group's drummer Nathan Followill took to Twitter.com to tease the news before announcing to his followers that they could see the group free of charge.

He writes, "I have a surprise that I will share in the next 30 minutes. Stay tuned... Book your rooms now. Why? Because we are playing a free New Years Eve show in downtown Nashville, that's why. #party"

Kings Of Leon are currently embarking on a European tour, which concludes in Gibraltar in September (15).
