Actress and Church of Scientology devotee Kirstie Alley has denied reports she is feuding with Leah Remini over her recent decision to leave the controversial religion.

The former King of Queens star cut ties with the organisation after 30 years of membership after reportedly becoming embroiled in an argument with leader David Miscavige over the Church's strict policies.

The news was revealed on 11 July (13), just hours after Alley posted a series of cryptic messages on her Twitter.com account, which read, "When faced w (with) malicious gossip I take a moment to experience the loss of the person I thought was my friend... Then I say f**k em (sic)... the sweetest poison is often served with a smile... beware syrup."

Gossips suggested the comments were directed towards her pal Remini, but Alley has taken to her social networking account to shut down the rumours perpetuated by anonymous sources.

She tweeted, "Lying news outlets. I do Not care what religion Anyone is or isn't. I respect religions & would fight for your freedom as well as mine... Thank U lying 'news' outlets for thinking I have Esp (Extrasensory perception) & write tweets 'Before' events Occur. I accept that compliment. Ur 'sources' don't exist."

She then quipped: "I'll just be here learning my lines 4 the movie I haven't been offered yet. And buying lottery tickets for The Cal lottery I won in Jan 2014."
