Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick ''belong together''.

One of the former couple's mutual pals, JOE FRANCIS, is reportedly so convinced the pair - who split up last month - should be together that he is doing anything to ensure they rekindle their romance.

A source said: ''Joe has been friends with Scott and Kourtney forever and he's doing the best to help them reconcile. He's the one who introduced them and has always believed they belong with each other. He has and continues to describe them as soul mates.

''Joe's been playing the middleman and the mediator all along. He says he saw the love they had for each other when they were both at his place in Mexico in May.''

And the insider also claims viewers will soon be able to see how the couple's ''roller coaster relationship'' plays out on an upcoming series of their E! reality show, 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians'.

They added to HollywoodLife.com: ''Cameras have been following Scott around since the whole cheating fiasco went down. Most likely for 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' since he's under contract as well, plus their roller coaster relationship is supposed to be a big theme on the show's upcoming season.''

Meanwhile, Kourtney's stepmother Caitlyn Jenner previously revealed the 36-year-old beauty ''will be okay'' following the split.

She said: ''She's doing as well as she can do under the circumstances. It's obviously very tough on her. Obviously Scott has a lot of issues and she's trying to deal with them the best she can. She's got three kids with him...She will be okay. Relationships aren't easy.''
