Kourtney Kardashian appeared to blank a TV presenter deliberately in response to a question about how her sister Kim was recovering in the wake of the traumatic armed robbery she suffered earlier this month.

The 37 year old mother of three was speaking on Australian news magazine programme ‘Today Extra’ via videolink on Thursday (October 20th) when she was asked about the incident in which her younger sister was bound, gagged and robbed of several million pounds’ worth of jewellery in Paris.

Kourtney KardashianKourtney Kardashian gave a slightly awkward response (or lack of it) to a question about sister Kim

“We were wondering how is everyone going and how is Kim doing?” asked co-host David Campbell. “You should know that the people of Australia and of our show were very empathetic about what happened and very horrified.”

Kourtney started to answer with the word “Um…” before a member of the Kardashian media team came in through the door, off camera. She looked at the woman, who told her not to answer the question.

“Hello Kourtney have we lost you?” Campbell asked when she tailed off. She briefly apologised by saying “they just came in” before clamming up altogether, simply staring blankly at the camera.

When it became clear that the ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ wasn’t going to talk, Campbell’s co-host Sonia Kruger said: “It looks like Kourtney doesn’t want to go there with that question. I think there is probably a PR person there saying ‘don’t answer that question’.”

Campbell, however, made his frustration clear. “I think she’s totally blanking me on that question,” he said. “She could just say ‘my sister’s fine’. I think we said we were very concerned and we were on her side and [said we] hope everyone is fine.”

She later began talking, but didn’t reveal anything that wasn’t already in the public sphere, saying that her 35 year old sister still was “not doing great”.
