Fact: Electronic masterminds Kraftwerk have announced their first full U.K. tour in 13 years. The German band are taking their shows to a new level by putting on 11 performances in 3D across the nation in June 2017, with tickets going on sale on Friday (30Sep16).

Fact: An obsessed Kraftwerk fan has named himself after his favourite band. Florida man David Sanborn has posted a picture of his driving licence on his Flickr page with his name listed as 'KRAFTWERK'. He has also posted a series of pictures of himself wearing the band's iconic red shirt and black tie from the cover of their 1978 album Man-MAChine.

Fact: German electronic stars Kraftwerk are bringing their album showcase event to America's West Coast. The group will play all eight of its albums at consecutive concerts at Los Angeles' Walt Disney Concert Hall in March (14). The event follows previous installations in London and New York City.

Fact: Rihanna, Kraftwerk and The National will headline Denmark's Roskilde festival in June and July (13). Slipknot, Sigur Ros, Queens Of The Stone Age, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Miguel, soul legend Bobby Womack, Jake Bugg, Crystal Castles, Suicidal Tendencies and Turbonegro will also perform at the annual music event.

Fact: German synth-pop pioneers Kraftwerk were joined by four British Olympic gold medal-winning cyclists during their set at the Manchester International Festival in the U.K. on Thursday (02Jul09). The sportsmen rode around the stage on bikes as the band performed their 1983 hit Tour De France.
