Kristen Bell has opened up about her marriage to husband Dax Shepard and the couple’s intimate 2013 courthouse wedding. Appearing on ‘CBS Sunday Morning’, Bell shared never-seen-before photos from the couple’s big day, giving a glimpse into their small, private ceremony.

"We got married in a tiny room in the Beverly Hills courthouse, and it was still one of the best days of my life," Bell said. In the photos, Bell is shown wearing a simple black top and trousers combo, while Shepard wore a dark suit.

Speaking about their relationship Bell continued: “He's a wonderful father. He knows the value of things. He was an addict for many, many years and he pulled himself out of it, and he's been sober for 11, 12 years now.”

”And he knows how many times he's messed up and how many times he's been really closing to losing everything." The couple first got together in 2007 and are parents to two daughters, Lincoln, aged three and Delta, aged one-and-a-half.

"I always think, if I'm on my deathbed, what am I gonna be thinking about?” the actress continued. “And it won't be some random movie I participated in, or some TV show. It will be my family.” Bell will next be seen in comedy Bad Moms and it’s safe to say the actress is happy with the level of fame she’s achieved.

"Those big fish sometimes have a real hard time,” Bell said, speaking about Hollywood’s A-listers. “They can't – I can still go to the grocery store. So I think I'm really happy with the size fish that I am."
