It's official; Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are Hollywood's richest film couple, well, in terms of the gross profit of the movies they've been in. The couple's involvement in The Twilight Saga saw them easy take the top spot in Forbes' top 10 list.

"There is something unique about these films in the way that people have attached themselves to them," said Dorothy Pomerantz of Forbes.com. "The movies are unconventional, and you have the added element that the two people are a couple in real life," she added. The pair, of course, went through a difficult period when Stewart had an affair with Rupert Sanders - the director of the film she starred in, Snow White and the Huntsman - which only served to add intrigue to an already highly anticipated end to the vampire franchise. Channing Tatum and Rachel McAdams with their film, The Vow, earning $125 million domestically, as well as $71 million overseas. Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler captured the No. 3 spot with Just Go With It, which earned $103 million at the U.S. box office and double that amount after international sales were included.

The $1.17 billion that Twilight gleaned far eclipses the $125 million The Vow gained, and with their stellar reputation, it looks like it'll take a lot for any Hollywood couple to overtake the famous pair.
