Kristen Stewart as already dominated the fantasy film genre when she starred as Bella Swan in the popular 'The Twilight Saga' film series, but the 24-year-old actress also has a fantasy of her own, and that is to play a superhero.

While speaking with Yahoo Movies to promote her new movie, the Oscar-nominated drama 'Still Alice,' Stewart revealed that she always wants to keep surprising people with the roles she takes on, and a Marvel movie would definitely achieve that.

"I love watching those movies," she said of superhero flicks. "I would love to show people that I can do more than just be 'Kristen Stewart' in a different movie, in a different circumstance. I'm sure I could get on board with 'Captain America', you know what I mean? ... It would just have to be the right thing."

If the brunette beauty is seriously considering joining a Marvel film, her best hope would be 'Captain Marvel,' the 2017 film about Carol Danvers, a Boston-born fighter pilot who manages to acquire superhuman powers, extensive fighting abilities and other superhero traits.

This is probably the most anticipated female-centric films by the fans. Furthermore, Stewart could also join the DC Comics cinematic universe in upcoming adaptations such as 'Wonder Woman' and 'justice League,' so there is no shortage of roles for her to try and play.
