Stewart opened up about her relationships and sexuality in an interview with Elle.
Kristen Stewart has once again sought to set the record straight about her love life, opening up about her relationship with her girlfriend Alicia Cargile in a new interview for Elle magazine.
The 26 year old former Twilight star, who has quickly ascended to be one of the most respected female actors in Hollywood, has been dating visual effects producer and her former assistant Cargile since July, having been in an on/off relationship before that.
Kristen Stewart spoke about her love life in a new interview with Elle
“I'm not ashamed, and I'm not confused,” she told the fashion magazine regarding her relationships and personal life. “Things have changed. And not just with me - we're really allowed to encourage this new acceptance to develop and be awesome.”
Stewart, recently a star of Woody Allen’s movie Café Society, has been notoriously defensive about her personal life and relationships, so her revelations are quite unusual.

Back in July this year, Stewart said of her girlfriend: “Right now I'm just really in love with my girlfriend. We've broken up a couple of times and gotten back together, and this time I was like, 'Finally, I can feel again.'”
In the same interview, she also addressed her former relationship with Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson, which went on for two years but fell apart in high-profile circumstances in the summer of 2014.
“When I was dating a guy I was hiding everything that I did because everything personal felt like it was immediately trivialized, so I didn't like it,” she revealed. “It wasn’t real life anymore. And that was gross to me. It’s not that I want to hide who I am or hide anything I’m doing in my life. It’s that I don’t want to become a part of a story for entertainment value.”
