Grim news for Kristin Chenoweth after her opening days shooting on 'The Good Wife' for network CBS, after being struck by a piece of lighting equipment that collapsed after a large gust of wind blew it over. Doubling the pain was the fact that Chenoweth fell instantly to the ground and smacked her head on the hard concrete floor. She was rushed to hospital.
A source on the scene told Tmz, "That area is a vortex for wind ... and a big gust of wind blew the lighting off the scaffolding" Apparently Chenoweth was hit "square in the head" and appeared to be "knocked out cold" with the witness chillingly adding "I thought she was dead at first".
The actress was fitted with a neck brace by paramedics before being put onto a stretcher and taken away to a nearby hospital. Unfortunately for Chenoweth she seems to be quite the unfortunate person when it comes to injuries. In 2003 she injured her neck during the pre-Broadway engagement of 'Wicked' whilst in 2006 she fell off an elevated section of the stage during a rehearsal for Broadway production 'The Apple Tree'. Just last year she took another tumble whilst on the set of 'Glee', falling down a set of concrete stairs. Hopefully she'll be back up on her feet in no time at all.
