Kristin Chenoweth appeared on Live with Kelly & Michael today, talking about the accident she suffered whilst filming 'The Good Wife' back in July. The accident was so bad that witnesses to the accident thought the actress might actually be dead. Luckily, that turned out not be the case, though Chenoweth explained that she is still suffering repercussions from the incident.

Recounting what happened, Chenoweth explained "Basically a big lighting thing ... fell and hit me. Knocked me out, knocked my face and slammed me down to the ground. ... The back of my head got hit on the curb." She went on to explain her injures: "I had a skull fracture, rib issue and neck issue and a hip issue. I'm issue-ridden, but I'm getting better." When asked by Michael Strahan whether her speech or memory had been affected, Kristin told him "I couldn't really form a sentence really well after it happened. I'm the queen of multi-tasking. I'm not so good at that right now. I'll be like, 'Mom, are you talking on the thing that you push, the phone." She remained light-hearted about the incident though and laughed "that's been interesting but that's getting better."

When Kristin explained that she'd put on a few pounds in weight as a result of eating all the treats that fans had sent her, Michael Strahan, a new addition to the show, ended the segment in a slightly bizarre manner, USA Today reports. The former NFL star decided that he wanted to know who weighed more: Kelly Ripa or Kristin. So he picked them up, one under each arm, before proclaiming "I don't care who's heavier, they feel good!" Not a terribly conventional TV chat show presenting style, but we're sure he'll settle into the role!
