Kristin Chenoweth was the toast of Broadway on Monday (06Feb12) as a host of stars lined up to pay tribute to her stage career.
The actress was treated to performances from former colleagues and serenaded by pop singer Nick Jonas at the Drama League's Musical Celebration of Broadway benefit in New York's Pierre Hotel.
The current cast of Wicked also took to the stage to honour Chenoweth, who was the first star to play Glinda the Good Witch in the production.
Chenoweth later took to her Twitter.com page to share her delight, writing, "Omg (Oh my God) the Drama league performances killed me! There aren't words! The best night of my life. Thank you everyone."
Jonas also tweeted to Chenoweth, "Congratulations, you are a ray of light. I was so honored to be there tonight at the Drama league event."
