Somebody Else

Bluesy and soulful, Harry Collier and his players have created a powerful and at times, sorrowful track that screams utter beauty from every crotchet.

Collier’s sexy and soaring vocal (discovered by Dido’s bro Rollo, when Collier sang Happy Birthday in front of him in a restaurant!! Flukey or what??) puts you right where he wants you - in the palm of his band ready to be emotionally tossed about like a bit of glitter in a snow globe…

The Kubb sound itself is a brilliant mixture of Jazz and Country and a great big spoonful Radiohead… you, of course, will think that’s utter rubbish until you actually go out and get a copy of this brilliant track but I assure you, it’s true!

The lyrics on ‘Somebody Else’ aren’t going to win any prizes for poetry but for me, this really adds to the track. Its simplicity coupled with passionate emotion do the job more than sufficiently. Loving ‘Somebody Else’ and can’t wait to hear more!
