Kylie Jenner has reportedly been cited for wasting water at her $2.7 million mansion in Calabasas, California.

The 18-year-old reality TV star, who moved into the property approximately two months ago after purchasing it earlier this year, has been accused of violating drought restrictions during water patrol inspections in June by the Las Virgenes Municipal Water District.

The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star's rapper boyfriend Tyga, 25, who rents a $10.2 million house a few blocks away, has also been named on a list of people that used an excessive amount of water during the same period, according to official documents obtained by The Hollywood Reporter.

A private security firm identified 203 other culprits, as part of the agency's investigation, and NBC4 claims David Hasselhoff, Dr. Dre and Denise Richards also used more water than they should have.

Emergency water restrictions were introduced in California in May to combat the state's historic five year drought, and the agency plans to penalise violators in order to meet the state-mandated goal of a 36 percent reduction over a three-year period by next February.
