Kylie Jenner is having an extravagant 'Sweet 16' birthday party.

The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star reaches the landmark age on August 10 and will mark the special occasion with a lavish bash for 100 guests to be held at the AT&T Center in Downtown Los Angeles.

Kylie - who is the youngest sister of reality star Kim Kardashian - will hand out luxurious goodie bags to revellers and the gift bags and many attractions at the party will not cost her parents Kris and Bruce Jenner a penny.

Kris - who manages the career of Kylie and her other children - has been canvassing companies to donate gifts and products for the event in return for publicity as the party is being filmed for 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians'.

According to the New York Daily News newspaper's Confidenti@l section, Kris has instructed her staff to contact Brand Placement L.A. to request as many free items as possible.

Kris, 57, began ''canvassing'' to the company to find businesses who would contribute gifts for the bash in return for publicity on their popular E! reality series.

A source said: ''The email says the party will be filmed for 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians, they have no shame. She said that the party will be televised on E! and that the donated gift items will also appear on Kylie's blog, which goes out to 500,000 people a day. In addition, Kylie will take a picture in front of the gift table.''

Brand Placement L.A. provided the gift bags for Kylie's sister Kendall Jenner's 'Sweet 16' in late 2011.

Kylie has already been given a free $125,000 Mercedes-Benz G-Class SUV - which comes with a matte finish - for her to drive.

The party is in stark contrast to Kendall's 16th birthday party, as she refused her mother's wishes for an extravagant celebration and asked guests to bring toys to be donated to charity.
