Former pop star-turned-actress Kym Marsh has been slammed by anti-smoking campaigners after she was snapped puffing on cigarettes with her 16-year-old daughter.

The former Hear'Say star, who know appears in U.K. soap opera Coronation Street, caused outrage when she and teenager Emily were both seen smoking outside a nightclub in Manchester, England last month (Apr14).

Deborah Arnott from health charity Ash, which helps smokers quit, has now lambasted Marsh for lighting up with her child, saying, "Most parents don't want their children to become smokers and they need to know that if they smoke their children are up to three times more likely to become smokers themselves."

In the U.K., you must be 18 to legally buy cigarettes.
