Authorities do not suspect foul play, but the Medical Examiner's Office will determine the cause of death.

Last month, L'Wren Scott cancelled her scheduled appearance at London Fashion Week following production delays which meant her key pieces were not ready in time. The show as scheduled to take place on Sunday February 16 as part of the bi-annual showcase but the former model - who founded her eponymous label in 2006 - did not make the event.

It's unclear whether Scott herself used her label's official Twitter account, though the last tweet - timed just 2hrs before news of her death hit the world's media - read "Today" with the hashtags #timwalkerphotographer and #lwrenloves.
