Lady GaGa and her manager, Troy Carter, may well be heading their separate ways. Meanwhile, despite reports of a split, Gaga and Taylor Kinney appear very much together.
Lady GaGa's romance with Taylor Kinney may still be raging on, but her relationship with manager Troy Carter has possibly come to an end.
Lady Gaga appeared at the YouTube Music Awards on Sunday (3rd November).
Sources, speaking to Us Weekly, claim the 'Born This Way' singer may well be parting from her long term manager Carter. One source claimed the two had different visions of Gaga's future and music. This source said "It's sad but also liberating at the same time. One door closes and another opens." Although the two have worked closely for over six years, it seems they are splitting because of "creative differences", if sources are to be believed.
Carter has been Gaga's manager since 2007 and helped launch her pop career. The 40-year-old music manager received an Emmy nomination for his work on the HBO special Lady Gaga Presents the Monster Ball Tour: At Madison Square Garden. Carter has previously worked with such artists as Eve, Nelly and John Legend.
Taylor Kinney and Lady Gaga have been dating for two years.
As for Gaga's love life, all seems to be well with Kinney. The couple have been together for two years but recent reports hinted their relationship may have been in trouble of later. It seems, according to a source speaking to The Sun, that Gaga's schedule is interfering with their relationship. This source stated that "Taylor has told her she's married to her career and that he can't deal with dating Gaga the megastar and all her obsessions and alter-egos." Furthermore, 32-year-old Kinney "loves the cool, down-to-earth girl but hardly gets to see her. Gaga never stops working: she writes songs in the shower and dreams up new outfits in her sleep."
However, appearing at the YouTube Music Awards on Sunday (3rd November), Gaga managed to quash such rumours. She appeared with Kinney and an Instagram video of the two kissing backstage was posted, according to Us Weekly.
Gaga performed at the first ever YouTube Awards wearing a set of decaying false teeth and performed her latest single 'Dope'. The online audience did not take to her appearance and the LA Times reports that over 4000 viewers exited the online performance.
