It was the opening show on her three date US tour, taking place at The 5 Spot in Nashville, Tennessee on Wednesday, where she performed her newest single 'Million Reasons' alongside the song's co-writer Hillary Lindsey. She closed the show with her hit single 'Perfect Illusion'.

'Million Reasons' has been co-produced by Lindsey, as well as Mark Ronson and BloodPop who worked on Gaga's earlier release 'Perfect Illusion' with Tame Impala's Kevin Parker and Queens of the Stone Age's Josh Homme.

The first date of Gaga's Dive Bar Tour also saw her perform 'Sinner's Prayer' and 'A-Yo'. She will be playing two further shows on October 20th and October 27th, the venues for which have not yet been announced.

'Million Reasons', 'Perfect Illusion', 'Sinner's Prayer' and 'A-Yo' are all from Gaga's forthcoming album 'Joanne'; her first solo release since 2013's experimental record 'ArtPop'. She followed that with a collaborate release of pop standards with Tony Bennett in 2014, an album which reached number one in the US and won the Grammy for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album.

'Joanne' also features a collaboration with Florence + The Machine's Florence Welch; a track called 'Hey Girl'. It's unknown whether or not Gaga will follow up this Dive Bar Tour with a full run in the future, but she is rather busy at the moment shooting Bradley Cooper's directorial debut 'A Star Is Born' - an adaptation of the 1937 film of the same name starring Janet Gaynor.

'Joanne' is set to be released on October 21st 2016.
