2013 has been a busy year for Lady GaGa who has been preparing to release her hugely anticipated third album 'Artpop' - out November 11th 2013 - as well as making her acting debut in Robert Rodriguez's upcoming low-budget action flick 'Machete Kills'. The trailer for the movie featured her brand new track 'Aura', and she has now released a stunning lyric video for the song.
It features Bond style clips of the movie which include Gaga with vibrant yellow hair and a matching skimpy outfit, stockings and not to mention a loaded handgun. It also sees scenes from her co-stars Charlie Sheen, Danny Trejo, Michelle Rodriguez and Amber Heard. The song starts off with a kind of lo-fi crooning from Gaga, before the electronics kick in and it becomes a unique pop number with a Spanish twang as a nod to the formidable Mexican title character.
Gaga's upcoming album follows up her worldwide chart topping record 'Born This Way' as sees her collaborate with producers Fernando Garibay and DJ White Shadow. She released the album's first single 'Applause' earlier this year which reached number 4 on the US Billboard. She will also be the subject of an upcoming documentary directed by photographer Terry Richardson and detailing the making of 'Artpop'.
