Lady Leshurr's debut single, Lego, is set to be released on November 21st 2011 through Gutter Strut Recordings, her own record label. It is the lead single from her anticipated debut album, which will be released sometime in spring 2012.
The brightly coloured video for Lego uses a range of special effects as Lady Leshurr stands against a white backdrop. One such effect involves the rapper holding her head in the crook of her arm. Of course, Lego is used here to good effect - it forms the title of the song and is even used as jewellery in some cases.
Melesha O'Garro - aka Lady Leshurr - hails from Birmingham and has already been compared to Busta Rhymes and Nicki Minaj. In fact, Lady Leshurr rose to fame with her impressive cover of the Busta Rhymes and Chris Brown song, Look At Me Now. From an early age, Melesha was writing lyrics and by age 12 she was rapping over UK garage and grime tracks.
As well as being a rapper, Lady Leshurr has also got her own range of merchandise, under the moniker Friggin L, inspired by fellow rapper Tinchy Stryder's merchandising range, Star In The Hood.
